What do children think looking at adults that come and go from work every day? Maybe they wonder
what they’re doing there and why they always seem to be in a hurry. But above all, why do they keep
going if they often seem sad?
Being an adult doesn’t mean being free to choose? Is there ever time to choose in life?
The collaboration between the two companies Principio Attivo Teatro and La Luna nel letto, both of
which pay close attention to the use of body language on stage, leads the audience into an imaginary
word free from certain answers to difficult questions. Two clowns clash with one another, much like
humans and material dimensions clash in life and also pleasure and duty, internal and external time
that always keeps moving.
The artists group is inspired by the language used in the silent movies of Fritz Lang, Buster Keaton,
and Charlie Chaplin to communicate such a complex theme even to the youngest audience. The
search for happiness finds its way through laughter and poetry…
I don’t wish you just any gift. I only wish you what others may lack. I wish you time, not to rush or run,
but time to be happy. I wish you time to hope again and to love. There’s no sense in waiting
anymore.
